PhD Academic College Scholarships Position in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry


Academic College Scholarships Helmholtz Center Munich/Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics The group of Matthias Kieslinger at the Helmholtz Center Munich (Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics) has identified Ebf proteins in the support of haematopoietic stem cells (Kieslinger et al., 2010). We use novel techniques in mouse genetics to additional examine the role of these proteins.

We Academic College Scholarships want to strengthen our team regarding the role of Ebf proteins in the support of normal and cruel stem cells and are looking for a PhD Student

Skills

  • Standard methods of molecular biology and biochemistry
  • Experience in cell culture
  • Experience in handling mouse strains desirable

Qualifications

  • Study of Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline
  • Strong interest in pursuing an academic career
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Academic College Scholarships position is to be filled by June 2011; we pay standard salary EG 13/2 TVÖD.
